The space where your garden actually gets used

A patio is where the table goes, where the barbecue lives and where you sit in the evening — so it needs to be level, dry underfoot and big enough to actually use. We start by working out how you want to live in the space, then size and position it around that.

Every slab is laid on a full mortar bed with primed backs and correct falls for drainage. Porcelain, Indian sandstone, limestone or granite — precision-jointed for a crisp, contemporary finish.

How we work

Our patios process

A simple, transparent four-step process — so you always know what's happening and when.

01

Layout & material choice

We plan the size, shape and slab format around your furniture and doors, and bring samples to view on site.

02

Excavate & sub-base

The area is dug out, membraned and a compacted sub-base laid to the correct depth and fall.

03

Lay on full bed

Slabs are primed and bedded on a full mortar bed — no dot-and-dab — for even support and no rocking.

04

Point & clean

Joints are brush-in pointed, the surface is washed down and edges, steps and thresholds are detailed.

Why choose EH Landscapes

Why homeowners pick us for patios

No hollow slabs

Full mortar bedding and slurry priming mean every slab is fully supported — nothing rocks, cracks or lifts.

Water runs away

Correct falls and level thresholds keep water off the house and away from your doors.

Tight, even joints

Precision jointing and consistent spacing give a clean modern finish rather than a patchy one.

Patios questions, answered

Porcelain is dimensionally perfect, low-maintenance and colour-stable. Natural stone has more character and variation. Both are excellent — it comes down to the look you want.
